Smoke/steam from bonnet when cold

I am new to forum as well as new to an Aston Martin!

Hello All!!!

While driving my DB9 Volante there seems to be quite a bit of smoke/steam coming from the vents in the bonnet when driving in cold temperatures...is this normal or should I start worrying. Temp gauge is only half way.

Could someone please advise.

Hi,

Seems to be just when its cold. Although you can see the heat waves coming through the vents when warm from the driving position.

Was this just on startup or all the time? When I had a DB9 I found a LOT of water went down those grilles from washing activities/rainfall which just burned off from the manifolds quite quickly.
