    Brake pad recommendations.

in Houston we have a problem

The pads on my '07 DB9 volante are getting a bit low and I'm thinking of changing them to EBC DP31909C & DP31908C Redstuff - as the stock pads produce too much dust and these are much better.

I've read that they can squeal if you don't do the proper 200 mile bedding in routine for them (aston1936 didn't do this and they squealed like a pig as they glazed his rotors - but he's going to try them again but this time follow the procedure).

Does anyone else have any recommendations?

I'm looking for less dust at a good price point as they are only for road use.

i use semi-metallic pads. practically no dust, no squeal and installed them with a little copper based paste on the shim/piston interface. inexpensive? oh ya. put them on my cayman too with similar success.

the OEM pads (cayman and aston) created so much dust (and squealed on occasion) that i couldn't get home from the car wash without having to clean the wheels again. no kidding. ugh!

Porterfield in USA, less dust and better for fast road runs.
